Another 6.00am - 7.30am SUP session in the bay.
Had hoped for windsurfing weather but the wind slept in longer than dawn
Tide was out, small waves were lapping the shore.
The orange ball was creeping upwards.
It looked like the wind might fill in a bit but given this was a Pre-work session i didn't have time to hang about optimistically, so SUP time.
Grabbed the Evo 10'9, suited up and went for it.
The rest of the patrol wanted wind, and as such I played solo, and as they gave up the wait the wind promptly woke up .... In fairness it didn't get particularly windy, but it did help push in some bigger waves to play in.
A much damper session for me, taking a couple of spills, but it was pretty good fun, quite refreshing, and I did catch a few waves too. I even got the hang of paddling out through the waves, admittedly not really any bigger than maybe knee high, they added a fun dimension to this early morning exercise session on the paddle board.
